I believe that we are nearing the end of the Messianic age and many of this generation will live to see the Return of Jesus. When I first got saved thirty years ago, God took over my world and completely turned it upside down. It felt as if I was picked up and deposited into boot camp, an intense and accelerated time of teaching and training. One of the first things the Lord said to me was that He was returning. Being a newborn Christian, I did not know how to process that! But over the years I have understood that the Body of Christ is carrying, and in travail to bring forth the Return of Christ! The Spirit and the Bride are groaning in travail for the coming of Jesus! The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!” (Rev. 22:17).

In Matthew 24:3 the disciple asks Jesus a poignant question, “…when shall these things be? and what shall bethe sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age?”

Jesus, having begun the age of Grace tells the disciples to go and teach all nations during the interim until He returns. “…teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:20

The word age, the Greek word aion refers specifically to the Messianic period. The word end means the consummation of the age. So, when the times reach their fullness for everything to be summed up in Christ, it means thatit is time for Christ’s return!

“With all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” Ephesians 1:10

The word times in this scripture is kairos, meaning due season, or appointed time. The Word fulfillment is pleroma, and means to be crammed full to fullness or completeness. What does this mean? It means that when the appointed time has arrived for something to occur – the season or time has reached its fullness and therefore, times must change! And in regard to this scripture, it means Jesus must return!

In Matthew 24, Jesus answers the disciple’s question about the end of the age and His return:

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”Matthew 24:30

In recent words I have shared, I have been discussing, the seeds of the dreams of God that the Body of Christ is now carrying, that they are Mighty and they are Holy. Therefore, the time of birth does not take place until God gives the word, until He has a people free of rebellion, disobedience, immaturity, and personal agenda; until He sees the surrendered will laid down before Him in humility—at that time the travail will begin. As women played significant roles in birthing the Christ on Earth, they will again play a large part in the travail to birth the return of Christ. Psalm 68 in a prophetic picture of the procession of the King into His sanctuary, Verses 11-17 says:

“The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng …The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.”

This Psalm speaks prophetically of both His first and second coming:

First Coming: Ps. 68:18  “You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious, That the LORD God might dwell there.”  (This passage is quoted after Jesus’ ascension in Ephesians 4:8)

Second Coming: Ps. 68:24  “They have seen Your procession, O God, The procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.” This scripture prophetically reveals the procession up to Jerusalem where the returning King is seated on His Throne.

Let’s look at a few Scriptures regarding the return of Christ:

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. NKJV … And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the SPLENDOR OF HIS COMING. 2Thessalonians 2:1-4 NLT

This is an end of the age passage that culminates with the return of Christ. The Day of the Lord is not past, it is here and its fullness is coming.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” Matthew 25:31

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 

When Will These Things happen?

The Scriptures show the shifts in history that have occurred and will occur in the future when the world reaches the fullness of times. These are times depicted by the word until when something significant happens… so let’s look at a few:

“For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:38  The world changed radically after that event.

“And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until— the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24 This occurred in 1967 when the Israeli army recovered the Temple Mount.

“…that blindness in part has happened to Israel until— the fullness of the Gentiles has COME IN” (Romans 11:25). THE HARVEST comes in at the end of the age when blindness to the Jeshua is removed from Israel and they are restored.

In speaking of Jesus, Acts 3:21 tells us that “… heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” Israel is being prepared for the return of the King.

“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ… (Ph. 1:6)”  The Body will reach maturity in the stature of Christ in preparation for His return.

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.” The Outpouring will come to usher in the Harvest before Christ Returns. James 5:7

“Therefore He shall give them up, until the time that she who is in labor has given birth; Then the remnant of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel” (Mic. 5:3). Until reveals the return of Jesus to Israel.

Matthew Henry’s commentary on this passage: This is, perhaps, the most important single prophecy in the Old Testament: it respects the personal character of the Messiah and the discoveries of himself to the world. It distinguishes his human birth from his existence from eternity; it foretells the rejection of the Israelites and Jews for a season, their final restoration, and the universal peace to prevail through the whole earth in the latter days.

When we have arrived at the time of until—when things suddenly shift—the time the Scriptures refer to as the fullness of time; catastrophic world-changing shifts will occur. God will have prepared a people for this time to have fortitude, courage, and wisdom, endowed with the Issachar anointing—possessing the understanding to process the times. They will be undergirded and supported by Him with revelation, understanding, strategy, and direction.  During this time Global shifts will occur, global structures will fall, and world systems will crash as new ones emerge. Such world-shaking earthquakes cause history to shift radically birthing new epochs for God’s purposes.

We are now in the closing era of history, living in the time frame of the Fourth Beast as I shared in my last message. It is time to give Him our all, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and submit to Him for His will be done. As we do this, we are hastening the day of His coming as 2 Peter 3:11-12 states:

“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, WHAT MANNER OF PERSONS OUGHT YOU TO BE in HOLY CONDUCT AND GODLINESS, looking for and HASTENING THE COMING OF THE DAY OF GOD, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?”  There is No cheap grace here!

What is Hindering the Lord’s Return?

Many people believe that Jesus could return at any moment. I believe that we are in the season of the summing up of all things in Christ at the end and conclusion of the Messianic age before Christ returns.

I believe we can hasten the day of the Lord’s Return by preparing His way in distinct areas:

A SANCTUARY IS PREPARED to receive Him, one that is built and structured according to His mind and His heart. Can we build it? Can it be any old sanctuary? Of course, the answer is no…yet we try! Only the Holy Spirit can build the House of God as its measurement is Christ.

A BRIDE IS MADE READY without spot through God’s principles of healing, cleansing, and deliverance of all satanic influence through the refining fire of God.

A RESOLUTE COURAGEOUS ARMY IS TRAINED, equipped, and positioned to fight in the great battles to bring in THE GREAT HARVEST, which, according to scripture is at the end of the age (Matt. 13:39).

THE PRINCIPLE OF HONOR, AND THE RELEASE OF THE AGAPE LOVE OF GOD, are actively working to bring the Body of Christ into a holy union, agreement, and the fear of the Lord. An honor that we will see restored to Israel.

WOMEN RELEASED coming out from under the oppression of past ages to understand their identity in Christ and step into their assignment as intercessors and midwives are ready for the travail through the birthing of a new era. Women who have embraced the Cross, are fully surrendered and in are in a corporate agreement.

God intends to raise and release an army of warriors who will travail with the Holy Spirit, through the days of awe leading us to the return of Christ and a new era of history. We see this picture in the three final Feasts and the Days of Awe that begin after the sounding of the trumpets at the Feast of Trumpets. Cataclysmic events are rolled out to prepare the world for this global seismic shift into the summing up of the work of God on earth. It is a holy time!

The Breaker Anointing

The Breaker will come to birth these events! God is now about to birth a new thing for a new season, a time imbued with a new mandate and great challenges.  Much revelation and strategic direction will come.

“The one who breaks open will come up before them; they will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their king will pass before them, with the Lord on their head.” Micah 2:13 KJV

The Body of Christ carries the Breaker Anointing, and the Breaker Himself is united with our travail, intercession, and ministry. Jill Austin, a prophet, and apostle who went home to be with the Lord describe the Breaker anointing this way:

“A breaker anointing is a catalytic deposit of the Holy Spirit, where eternity breaks through into the natural realm. It is a holy invasion where the gates of heaven are broken open with visitations of salvation, healing, and deliverance. The breaker anointing is the core anointing of the apostolic Church.”

The Breaker comes to break the amniotic sac to begin the birthing process. After the water breaks contractions follow. The water breaking initiates the labor and comes to facilitate the birth. The word breaker in Hebrew is parats and means to break out, burst out, pass through: to crossover. It is the same word in 2 Samuel 5:20:

“So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, LIKE A BREAKTHROUGH OF WATER.

God is going to send a flood, an outpouring that will break us into a new season.  We have arrived at an incredible and significant epoch of history when the magnificent masterpieces of God for the summing up of the age will be birthed into reality by a powerful breaker anointing—the Man Child—the sons of God, The Harvest, The Restoration of Israel, and the Coming of the King to establish his kingdom on Earth!

“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a MAN CHILD… Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: “Shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” KJV Isaiah 66:7-9

The Breaker is coming to break the amniotic sack! The travail will come in waves as momentum builds and the battles intensify. We must begin to intercede for the coming forth of the Man Child within you and on the Earth. The call on this hour is the travail with the Holy Spirit to prepare the way for the Lord Jesus to show up in our gatherings, in our cities, and in our nations!  This message is true for both men and women. I would like to close by reading a passage from Zechariah 14 starting at verse 4.

On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward… 

“And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. THEN THE LORD MY GOD WILL COME, AND ALL THE HOLY ONES WITH HIM. On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost.  And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea. It shall continue in summer as in winter. And the LORD will be King over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be one and HIS NAME ONE.” Zechariah 14:4-8
