Critical Thinking For Critical Times!

The Year of Release I have been writing about is the coming Jewish Shmita year. The Shmita was to be a Sabbath year of rest, a year when slaves were released from captivity and fortunes were restored—it was therefore a time of rest, deliverance, and financial restoration. It was a year of freedom and release.

The Year of Release, I believe will stretch into a Decade of Release, having a new spiritual Dynamic. We have entered a Kingdom era and God’s plan is for His Kingdom to come to Earth!  As this is such a critical time, it demands Critical Thinking! I heard the Lord say the words critical thinking, so I went digging.

There is much written in regard to critical thinking, so it is important to differentiate between the Kingdom’s approach from the world’s. According to the Foundation for Critical Thinking, it is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.

The Lord, however, revealed that Spirit-led Critical thinking is the God-given ability to cut through what is false from what is true, by applying strategic revelation received from God, in His Word, or directly, to arrive at accurate conclusions with which to proceed and take action. What may seem logical or reasonable to the world’s standards, yet does not align with the Word and precepts of God, becomes evident in Spirit-led critical thinking. It is vital to grasp this way of thinking as the Leviathan spirit is presently distorting and saturating all communications with deception and mind-control.

Satan employed this trick in the garden of Eden with both Adam and Eve. Neither was thinking critically by weighing the words spoken against the Word of God. Eve also did not spiritually discern the evil lurking behind words that seemed quite plausible in the moment.

In Matthew 16:22, Peter was also not discerning the greater significance of Jesus’ words, as they did not appear to be reasonable, triggering him to step out from his place of a disciple to rebuke Jesus. Peter did not recognize that evil was influencing his reasoning.  Jesus had to confront the demonic influence and rebuke him: “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”  In Matthew 4:7, Satan even tried to use the Word of God to sway Jesus. However, Jesus pierced through the deception with the Word of God.

Seemingly reasonable words and logical thinking can lead us on a path to destruction and even hell. Without taking the time to think critically, pray through and discern what God is saying, ensuring that it lines up with the Word of God, puts you on a trajectory toward great trouble. God’s higher ways never seem to make sense in the passion of the moment, so patience is also required. We need light! The light of Heaven that releases truth and revelation for the moment and direction for the season ahead.

It is essential to maintain our objectivity in the dichotomy of the present times, to stay balanced and grounded in Christ, in a season characterized by the best and the worst of times, and darkness and light—a time when the wheat and the tares are growing to their fullness.

God will have an administration suitable for this present dispensation; one that is tailored and equipped to meet the challenges of these times—just as he has had for every decade of this century (Please listen to our last podcast on Stewardship of the Time). Because we are alive, we are that generationthis is our destiny! It is, therefore, necessary to God’s interests that we think critically and strategically to:

  1. Understand the dynamics of the times.
  2. Understand God’s intentions for the times.
  3. Know the framework and boundaries of the times
  4. The enemy’s limits in the times (Dan. 7:25)
  5. Receive directions and tactical assignments to implement and steward the plan of God for the times.

How do we receive understanding? Light will be breaking through into our consciousness causing us to see and receive revelation. This requires a Breaker Anointing coming from another dimension that pierces the veil and opens the door or portal to allow light, revelation, and understanding to come through. A word escapes through the veil when someone is positioned rightly in a heart-to-heart connection with the Lord—the Breaker comes. Using critical thinking, we then apply what we have seen and heard into the equation.

The veil between the realms and dimensions is now getting thinner—to which both Heaven and the demonic are taking advantage of. This is a heightened spiritual time that we are living in that calls for the supernatural life of Christ in us to come forth.

The path ahead will require a close walk with our Lord and will necessitate becoming fully alive to our identity as supernatural saints in Christ as things may get much uglier before they get better. As the administrators of the season ahead, we must press in to receive all that God wants to deliver to us and begin to think critically as to how He would have it executed. Don’t worry if other people are not understanding what you are getting—in its time they will. It’s an important time to be intentional about grasping and processing what God is saying.

We will not be able to go through the coming days without being deeply rooted in Christ, having full assurance of His Lordship over our lives, and walking in the fear of the Lord. It is a time to be ready for anything. In the days ahead it will become necessary to recognize that many things are being deliberately labeled as conspiracies to deflect attention. Things can shift suddenly and like Elijah, we must be ready with our loins girded up, ready to run our supernatural race.

How are we as believers to stand in this hour without fear? Firstly, the fear of God must be our foundation. This is not a time to be complacent about God and about sin. The enemy is prowling about and sin is his attraction.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. Psalm 27:1-3

Second, it helps to have a history with God. If you don’t have one and are a new believer, then read someone else’s history, their biography, and their testimonies, and build your faith. The saints of God released in the High Call of serving God in this hour will have attained through much refining, a high level of character, integrity, and faithfulness.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,   having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. Ephesians 1:7-10

God significantly highlighted the word prudence to me as a word for the times. God will lavish on the saints “… all wisdom and prudence.” The definition of prudence reveals the high level of wisdom and insight God will give the Saints to steward His plan for the times, it is defined as:

  • The ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason.
  • Sagacity or shrewdness in the management of affairs; keen discernment and perception
  • Skill and good judgment in the use of resources
  • Caution or circumspection as to danger or risk; the ability to see ahead.

To Christian philosophers, prudence was considered the ‘mother’ of all virtues by its ability to see ahead and make right decisions.

“Prudence has a directive capacity with regard to the other virtues. It lights the way and measures the arena for their exercise…

Without prudence, bravery becomes foolhardiness; mercy sinks into weakness, free self-expression and kindness into censure, humility into degradation and arrogance, selflessness into corruption, and temperance into fanaticism. (Wikipedia)

God says: “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence…” Proverbs 8:12

Prudence will become a virtue, crucial for the times; it will be at the forefront in the attributes of those equipped in the fulness of resurrection power, who serve God in the high call of stewarding the times. It could be said that the tribe of Issachar functioned in the virtue of prudence—they were in possession of the wisdom and understanding needed for making the right decisions:

“…of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…” 1 Chronicles 12:32

God is presently transitioning His people from one level of experience to another; one that has a very new dynamic that is vastly different from what have previously known. He is urging us to a new and deeper level of covenant relationship with him. He wants to take us to places that we’ve not experienced before! He is calling us to become signs and wonders to this generation. To be vessels of God’s rule and reign breaking into the earth!

Recently, while at a worship service, a friend began to make a circular motion with her arms. When she did that, I heard the Lord say, the wheels are turning and I saw a picture in my mind of a horse and buggy that carries hay, in the setting of rugged terrain. The ground was dirt and stones and the buggy had large wooden wheels. God revealed from this picture that through our worship we were pioneering new spiritual territory.

The big wooden wheels represented that in the early stages, it is sometimes slow going as we plow the ground of new territory. The wheels don’t always turn as quickly as we would like, and it takes time for the rocky terrain to become smooth paths and paved roads. The hay represented the harvest, and I sensed God say He is preparing for the harvest, that we were to keep digging the spiritual ground, through our praise and worship.

I then saw another picture of a beautiful shining Rolls Royce. It was not a typical Rolls Royce in that it looked like a new model. It was long and sleek, low off the ground, and appeared to be a sports model. It was designed with excellence, built for speed, powerful acceleration, and was clearly designed to carry royalty. It was a Divine engineering feat and technologically advanced beyond our age.

I sensed through this picture, God saying that as His people persevered in faithfulness, worship and obedience to His Word, that the paths were going to become smooth; and the rugged terrain transformed, into a highway. This vehicle was built for the high way of God, for the saints who were persevering in faith. It was a supernatural model built for this hour to carry a Royal Priesthood, and a chosen generation into the Glory of God. It would be a vehicle that would accelerate God’s purposes in this hour. It was a new model, built to function in a new dynamic. It could and would get the job done! It was built for speed; speeds that the enemy would not be able to match. It was a supernatural vehicle that could move in and out of dimensions in Christ—with Christ at the wheel.

We’re now about to enter the era of the supernatural and God has gone ahead to prepare for us a vehicle to carry us through—a new model, a new thing, a new wineskin, having a new heart-engine running on the high praises of His people. It’s important to not turn back to the old model, the old ways of doing things or even interacting with the Holy Spirit. God is taking us to a new place—a higher dimension having new ways to move in the Spirit. New sounds are being released—sounds that will carry us into new realms and Great Glory.

I believe God is saying to learn the new sounds, to think critically with a renewed mind, to learn and understand the new dynamic—to press in for the new to leave the old mindset behind.  I believe that we begin by simply fixing our eyes upon Him in worship, gazing on His beauty and Glory, exalting Him with all of our beings. I believe that is all we need to do, and He will lead us where we need to go. God will move in our praise, to bring in and establish His New Thing, to fashion a people for His New Wineskin.

The Lord will do it, we can’t strive to try to make it happen, and we cannot work it up. We have arrived at a season characterized by the rest of God, where we rest in Him and He moves in power to do the work. It’s not that we’re going to lie down and let him do everything—it is a holy partnership, but it requires quietness in him, listening for His voice, and simply following and allowing Him to do what only He can do. It is so important right now that we recognize our limitations apart from Him, to recognize and magnify the majesty and the magnitude of the power and ability of the God that we serve.

The Year of Release!

In recent words that I have written, I shared about the coming Jewish Shmita year beginning on Rosh Hashanah September 6th 2021-2022. This was to be a Sabbath year of rest but was also a year when slaves were released from captivity and fortunes restored—it was a year of freedom and release. Today in preparation for the Year of Release and the Great Cross Over into a most notable season of history—a time of promises fulfilled, and destiny realized—a new breed is arising for this historic moment, ready to conquer and occupy lands for the Kingdom of God. A people presently chosen, known, and ordained for this hour, from before time, are now beginning to mobilize. We are about to enter the time of the Great Crossover into our promised destiny. It is therefore possible to stand resolute in the call of God, and in the face of tyranny, stand  with resolve, knowing that the living God stands with us and goes before us.

God’s ways and methods for accomplishing His ends, however, are so much higher than ours, that to the undiscerning, things may appear quite desperate, with the enemy seemingly having the upper hand. Our hearts desire is for God to move quickly to fix the problems, but things don’t always unfold the way we have imagined or expect. It may require some time. It may require a series of battles—a campaign that God is leading us through onto victory.

The saints of God must therefore be prepared to dig in, and to fight with a mindset and resolve for the long haul, and whatever it may take to succeed. Conflict is not usually a bed of roses. To attain to victory and the conquering of the promised land, it may require a walk through the Red Sea, with ominous walls of water on either side looking like they’re ready to crash in on us. It may look like a harrowing road ahead, with howling winds and great storms, yet, through it all God is saying, keep your eyes fixed on Me and follow My lead, I will be with you, and I will keep you safe.

Things may appear to get uglier before they get better. The path ahead will require a close walk with our Lord, and it will necessitate coming fully alive to our identity as supernatural warriors in Christ. It will require deep roots. To grow to the heights, it’s necessary to have very deep roots, as any strong wind that comes along will take you down and out. The people of God must become like the mountain tree whose roots are buried deep in the Rock through growth in endurance and is able to withstand the battering winds and storms. Through this trying time there are many in the church, and for sure in the world, who do not have deep roots—the saints are there to keep them steady in the storm, not to attack them.

The year of release is the year to be fully who you are in Christ. It means God is opening the gate to your stall. It means there is an assignment for you—a path ahead with signposts positioned along the way. God is our guide who knows the way ahead. Sometimes, the road takes turns and twists, but God knows how to get us to our destination. The question you must answer yourself is, do you trust him?

During the days ahead it will be important to be saturated in the Word, reading it daily, as we will be receiving important instructions and messages from the Lord through His Word. Watch for the signs and stay objective. Look for the thread that ties things together. God can speak to you in many ways and through many voices; take note of the things that are being confirmed. Recognize that no one has the whole picture. Allow God to fine tune your senses and don’t become dogmatic, set in your opinion. Be flexible and willing to yield when it becomes clear that you have taking a wrong turn. God has differing paths for different people. He has specific tasks and assignments for certain individuals. Know what yours is! Don’t follow blindly! Trust God in the strange ways that He works, as His ways are so much higher.

Joshua was appointed the commander of the armies of Israel and knew what to do because God was with him, and over the years He had learned to understand God’s strange ways of accomplishing His ends. Israel, as a people, agreed with God to obey and follow Joshua when Moses had passed. Soldiers like Joshua are brave and confident’ because of their training. They have been fashioned in conflict and in tests of endurance. They are secure within their team who have trained alongside them. They are specialists and skilled with weaponry; they know when and how to deploy their weapons and they have no fear. They are interconnected through intelligence and communication with each other and with the home base, both Heavenly and locally. Soldiers understand the mission and the potential costs.

THE ARMIES OF GOD

Things are about to shift for the saints with the new season starting in the Year of Release. The Lord God is going ahead of us. He goes before us, and He will be with us. He will not leave us nor forsake us, so do not fear, or be dismayed as he told Joshua. We have been kept in a measure of silence during the years of training and preparation. God is about to release us to our destiny and He’s about to release our voice—remember, we are in the decade of the voice—the decade of pey according to the Jewish calendar. To be a voice for the Lord comes with a cost! Will you answer the call? Remember Moses and Jeremiah, they both resisted the call, but God assured them that He would be with them, just as He will be with us!

Moses commanded Joshua to read the book of the law written in Deuteronomy every seven years, in the Year of Release, at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles (Deut. 31:10). God’s reasoning in these instructions, was that the people would learn to fear the Lord their God and be careful to do all the words of the law. Moses then said to the people:

“Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47

Holding the Word of God dear to our hearts, is also a word that is for us today as we prepare to crossover into this new season of strength. When it was time to crossover, Joshua told the people to be ready, to consecrate themselves to the Lord, for they were about to cross over into a new land. God had found a generation that He could work with to conquer and take the land that was close to His heart—a land representing one that is ruled by the Kingdom of God and the Lord our God, a land that is Holy, characterized by righteousness and the Lordship of Christ.

At present, there is great shaking in the world, in all nations. We have entered a time of trouble where evil has progressively been creeping in through governments of nations. Their intention is to take control of mankind and turn them toward the kingdom of darkness in service to Satan its ruler. This is a moment that we have been chosen for, and have been prepared for; a time in which God has set the dynamic. God has set stage for the battles ahead. He has already gone ahead to ensure victory. We stand in the victory that has already been won by Christ on the Cross.

As the armies of God rise and get ready to move out, the kingdom of darkness is in disarray. They are in fear of the King of kings and of His armies that follow Him. In the days ahead we will see victories; we will see exposures of hidden things; we will see God shine His light into the darkness; we will see many prominent figures fall; we will see turmoil, civil unrest, and wars; and we will see the armies of darkness rise up, enraged in hatred and in violence. I believe God is saying to us that when we see all these things, that we are not to fear—we are to fear Him! In such times we are to know, recognize and remember that He is on His throne. God is in full control, and we must continue through it all, to always look to Him. As we walk through this time, through our Red Sea into victory, we keep our eyes on the destination, and we keep our eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel. We are about to run the gauntlet, but remember, it’s the gauntlet to the Promised Land and to Glory. God would say to His enemies and to us:

“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.’

“For the LORD will judge His people and have compassion on His servants, when He sees that their power is gone, and there is no one remaining, bond or free.” Deuteronomy 32:35-36

Sometimes God will delay His work, that we may understand our sinful nature and our weakness to accomplish anything of value apart from Him. When our power is gone and all seems lost, and we are having a Red Sea moment with the enemy gaining strength—or so it may appear, we begin to cry out to God, and repent of our idolatry and apostasy. At such times God will then in His tender mercies, draw graciously near to us once again, to heal, to quicken and to deliver. He will decree swift vengeance to the evils that have kept us in despair, ride in on His white horse and lead us into victory.

Come Alive!

In the New Testament, in almost every letter written to His Church, God is referred to as “the God of peace.” When we are saved and become a child of God through our belief in Jesus, we not only receive ‘peace with God,’ in Christ, we inherit ‘the peace of God.’  Jesus is the Prince of Peace—He Himself is the manifest Presence of Peace.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not you heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”John 14:27

In a world where disasters, crime, terror, plagues, and economic uncertainty have now become a normal part of life, Jesus’ promise of Peace becomes a very precious gift to be sought and desired. Jesus said: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation…” John 16:33

In this scripture Jesus went on to say that we are to be of “good cheer” because He has overcome the world! This seems to be quite the paradox—on one hand Jesus is saying we will have trouble and on the other, He says don’t lose your peace over it! How are we to apply this principle in our daily walk? If you are like me, your desire will be to know how this principle works. What does Jesus’ overcoming of the world mean to you and your present situation? It means just this—Jesus has taken upon Himself all that you are presently going through. He has walked through greater trouble than anyone has walked through, but He came out on the resurrection side of the trial, as a conqueror and overcomer of all tribulation and all evil!

How does this help you in your present situation? If Christ lives in your heart, the Conqueror lives in you, and through you can overcome all hindrances on your path to Glory, God is our refuge and strength, and a very present help in trouble according to Psalm 46. The Bible says that if you are ‘in Christ’ you are “…more than a conqueror.” It declares that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you—if you do not lose your peace!

When we face tough situations, there are two choices before us—two paths we can walk. We can focus on our circumstances and become buried under the implications of our situation or, we can choose to focus on Christ and put our faith in His ability to take us through to victory—the resurrection side of the situation! Because of His great love and compassion towards us, the loving Presence of God is usually much stronger in our troubles than at other times in our life.  David, who knew this very well said these famous words, “Yea, Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me…” (Psalm 23:4).

With Christ in you, and with you at your side, you will make it through to the other side in victory. He is, Christ in you the hope of Glory.  God’s admonition to us is:

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS THROUGH CHRIST.”   Philippians 4:7 (emphasis mine)

Many of you may be saying, “You don’t know what I am going through, I have lost my child,” or “I have lost a husband or wife,” or “I have lost my house or my Job, and nothing can bring these things back,”—and you are right! However, I do understand as I have lost my son, my only child, who was only 24 years old. But through it all I have found that I serve an AWESOME, INCREDIBLE and WONDERFUL God who is referred to in the Bible as our REDEEMER and MIGHTY GOD!

JESUS IS THE REDEEMER!

The word redeems means: To buy back, to recover, deliver, make up for—be a compensating factor, save from blame, purchase the freedom of (a person), save by ransom, rescue or reclaim, fulfill a promise. Our Wonderful God can do all these things and more, when you put your faith in him and believe that He can! For whatever loss you may suffer, God is able to take your loss and your troubles and use it to bring forth good out of it, and lead you into victory—in the midst of your troubles.

Through it all, if we fix our eyes on Jesus, His Peace guards our heart. This is the Peace that surpasses understanding! The Lord will bring Glory out of your circumstances; He will use it to conform you to His image in the process, as you move from Glory to Glory in your walk with Him!  He works all things for good for those who love Him.

As we seek God’s face in all our troubles, Jesus our REDEEMER will BUY BACK, RECOVER and DELIVER; He will MAKE UP FOR and BE THE COMPENSATING FACTOR IN… He will SAVE and PURCHASE THE FREEDOM OF, He will SAVE FROM BLAME. He is THE RANSOM that saves you! He will RESCUE you and RECLAIM all that has been stolen from you by His enemy and yours, and HE WILL FULFILL ALL HIS PROMISES TO YOU!

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you.” Isaiah 26:3(NLT)

We have now shifted into a new season with a new dynamic, just as the world did in the time of 9/11. This is a time when we must find courage like David who had to find his strength in the Lord, when his men wanted to stone him after the enemy had stolen their wives all their belongings (1Samuel 30:3).

God becomes our Commander in Chief as we enlist in His Army. He will direct our paths just as He did David’s. He will strengthen us for the journey and provide for us along the way. We must be passionate about our God and the Kingdom of God, as He is all we have and all that we will ever need! We cannot afford to enter into unbelief, as we are fighting for something far greater than ourselves with eternity in view.

Israel was a downtrodden people and persecuted in all the nations where they lived. When returning to the land they had little chance of survival as they did not know how to fight. However, everyone was called to fight—men, women, and children. In the same way we must become the holy soldiers that we are called to be. God is depending on us and believes in us, and with Him we will defeat the enemy as Israel did.

A CHOSEN GENERATION!

In the coming days God will need His people to be manifesting the fullness of Christ and who they are called to be, to fulfill their destiny in Him. The times require it! the days demanded it! The earth is groaning in travail for it. Will you answer the call? Will you rise up and be the person God created you to be for such a time as this? Will you be counted on the front lines of the battle for the Kingdom of God to accomplish His will on earth, as it is in Heaven? Let us not shrink back in in fear. Let us rise up in courage, in boldness, as Joshua was admonished to by God the father. God told him repeatedly to be of good courage, to not be afraid, that He would be with him wherever he would go.

In 1Peter chapter 2, Peter admonishes the people of God to become mature Saints, by turning away from sin. He tells them that though they have been rejected by men, they are chosen by God and precious to Him. He then makes this sublime statement:

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Are we a chosen generation? Chosen for this hour of history! A generation called and ready to take the Promised Land and bring Heaven to Earth. A generation that cannot be cursed because God has blessed us as He did the generation in the book of numbers, who were primed and prepared to take the land. The heart of God for that generation was revealed as the Word of God burst forth from Balaam when he observed the camp of Israel,“How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! (Numbers 24:5). He then prophesied:

“Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox. “For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’ Look, a people rises like a lioness, And lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain.” Numbers 23:20-24

We can know and believe that we are a generation in whom the word of God dwells, in whom the life of Christ resides. The Word of God was first deposited in Israel. The Word of God that is Christ, then came alive within Israel and was born a man—the Son of Man and the Son of God. The Word of God therefore resides within the very DNA of Israel. The Word of God is also now intrinsically woven into the DNA of all born again believers grafted into Israel. We are now a part of a new family, a new Bloodline—the bloodline of Christ and of the Patriarchs. We are born again in Christ and are now children of Abraham, as Galatians 3:7 says: Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.

The Bible declares that the Word of God does not return to Him void! It accomplishes whatever He says, it goes wherever He sends it, it runs swiftly to perform His will. It is time now for every Word of God spoken, to be fulfilled in us for this dispensation, for this era we have been chosen to steward. This is the high call of God! This is our destiny!

There are rich treasures to be found in Jesus Christ: eternal treasures, revelation, sublime creativity, ingenious innovation, eternal wisdom—all embedded within the His life. This Son of God lives within each believer; every rich treasure, therefore becomes our inheritance and is embedded within us. It is time for us to believe the truth of the Word! It is time for us to intentionally command every good thing within us to come alive, to come forth in our being; to come alive in our mind, to come alive in our brain cells, to come alive in our hearts, and to come alive in our emotions. It is time to call for the life of Christ that reside in us to begin to be revealed; that we would begin to manifest our spiritual and supernatural abilities in Christ. Find the river that is in you. There is a River deep within each one of us, bringing strength when it is needed—a Source, a fountainhead that sustains us. His name is Jesus!

We can now be bold to speak to the Word of God living within us. We can shout and command it to come alive in the name of Jeshua. We can Decree to the Word in us: Come alive every Word of God embedded within me! Every word of God prophesied over me now comes alive!  Shout, Come Alive Word of God and accomplish the will of God in me. Come alive in your people, that the glory of Your Word and of Your Name may break forth in a chosen and royal generation. Come alive to the fullness of the stature of Christ within me. Live in the name of Jesus! God is for you, eye has not seen the things He has prepared for His people.

Called as Ambassadors of Reconciliation!

“All this is from God who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors as though God were making His appeal through us.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Are you an ambassador of Christ? If you are born again the Word of God says that you are! If you have been reconciled to God through Christ, He has given you the ministry of reconciliation, you are therefore an ambassador of Christ sent from God. If our testimony is that we are Christians and we testify that Christ lives in our hearts, whether we choose to walk in this ministry or not, the world sees us as representatives of Christ and judges us accordingly. Our challenge is then: how well are we reflecting God’s Heart, Mind, ways, or His walk? Are others seeing Christ in you?

God is challenging us to begin to walk in the truth of His Word—the Word of God that we attest to and claim to believe! This generation—both young and old—is now presented with a world that is in dire need of the Truth and Light that is hidden in many Christian hearts. Multitudes in the world are in desperate need of Good News. The world is thirsting for Living Water! This Treasure has been placed within you, for them—will you give it?

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Are you living as an Ambassador of Christ?

Every day in our daily lives we can be faced with circumstances that press us on every side; situations that crush us, events that devastate us, and of course family and people who perplex or frustrate us. In these situations, we have the choice to represent Christ in obedience to his Word, or to react in the ways of the world. The way we walk through life’s challenges is particularly important to God. Every situation comes with the opportunity and challenge to reflect or present Christ to others.

Christians can easily fall into the ways of the world and react to situations in carnal ways—in anger, in judgment, in criticism, in fear and panic, and in unforgiveness. Whether knowingly or unknowingly the spirit of anti-Christ is released—a spirit that is in opposition to the ways of Christ, that magnifies the situation in a negative way. The situation is therefore bound up in sin, and God is bound by His own Word from coming to our rescue! Our level of faith is revealed in the heat of the test, and proven by our actions whether we really trust in the faithfulness of God.

There was no shadow of darkness between Jesus and the Father. Jesus lived a life of total obedience and walked in the favor of God under an opened Heaven. Many Christians are confused or perplexed when they do not see the promises of God realized in their lives; yet many either do not know the Word of God or choose to treat it lightly. The Lord said, “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” God is very serious about His Word. If He says do not judge—He means it. If He says that in the same measure that we judge others it will be measured right back to us—He means it! If He says to forgive seventy times seven and not to allow bitterness to take root in our hearts because gives Satan a place in our lives—He means it! And when He says that just as we have received mercy, we are to give mercy to others—He means that also!

“He Has shown you , O man what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

The answer to any predicament we may ever find ourselves in is quite simply obedience. If we truly repent of our old sinful ways and humble ourselves before God, and if we choose to embrace the Cross and begin to live a life of obedience to our God, despite the costs, the fragrance of Christ will be released through our lives.

We will begin to walk under an open heaven in favor with God and with man, and we will see the answers to all our prayers realized. The Holy Spirit will be loosed to lead us into our destiny and the inheritance won for us at the Cross. If our prayers are not yet answered due to the Lord’s timing, He will give us His strength to be able to maintain our joy in faith, hope, and expectation of His faithfulness.

When our lives are aligned to the Plumb line of Christ, the world will be drawn to the Light of Christ radiating through us. The fragrance of Christ permeating our lives will attract the lost and the lonely. The world is groaning in expectation of the revelation of such Christians; Christians who have the Heart of Christ and are fragrant with the perfumes of Heaven. The Bible calls these ambassadors of Christ the sons of God:

“For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God…The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.” Roman 8:14-19

“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the one who sent Me.” Matthew 10:40

The word ‘sent’ in this scripture is the Greek word apostello which means to be ‘set apart’ and to be ‘sent out.’ I believe that if the magnitude of the revelation imparted in these words of Christ, were fully apprehended and taken hold of, the world would not be in the crisis that it now finds itself in—threats of nuclear war, terrorists invading the earth like a dark cloud, abortion, drug and substance abuse, violent crimes against children and women; witchcraft and the occult permeating the media, children’s books and TV programs; an escalation of sickness and disease; anxiety, hopelessness and suicide, all very prevalent in the world in which we now live.

Where is Jesus when the world needs Him so desperately? Where can we find Him? Is He hiding Himself, or is He sleeping in the boat while the storms around us rage? Where is Jesus? Jesus is presently imprisoned within the hearts of His people and patiently waiting to be released by faith to do that which He was sent to do, “destroy the works of darkness” (1Jn.3:8). If we claim to be sons of God, ambassadors of Christ, the King Himself whom we represent lives within us, and goes wherever we go. We are therefore Christ sent! We carry the King in our hearts, we carry His mission, and we carry His destiny within us. We are carriers of His Glory! Wherever we go, the King and His Kingdom goes with us.

Jesus lives in us, but He is bound from participation in the affairs of man by our complacency, our fear, our unbelief and by old doctrines that deny that the power of God is for today. 2 Timothy 3:5 speaks of those who have a form of godliness but deny the power. The word ‘power’ is the Greek word dunamis which means miraculous power. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:7 that this treasure has been placed in us earthen vessels, “to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” In these scriptures the power Paul speaks of is Divine, supernatural, dunamis, miraculous power.

In the book of Acts the Holy Spirit came in dunamis power with demonstrations of signs, wonders and miracles, more than once! On the Day of Pentecost Peter said that the promise of the Holy Ghost was for “…you and your children and for all who are afar off—for all whom the Lord our God will call” (Acts 2:39).

Dunamis power is supernatural power that is released from the very Life of God. Within His Life no impossibilities exist. Within the Life of Christ, the possibility exists to walk on water and to raise the dead as the laws of nature are all subject to Him.

The God that we love and serve is a supernatural God whose attributes are all supernatural. From His love, mercy and compassion, healing is released, lives are brought into order, the heavens are opened, and miraculous blessings are poured out. Jesus said that we would do even greater works than He did! From His justice, vengeance and wrath, power that can change the weather and the atmosphere is released.  Great dynamos of power will be released, that will shake the earth from its rotten foundations.

Jesus instructed His disciples to drive out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead (Matt:10:8), he said that these were the signs that would follow those who believe (mark:16:17). “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12

Christ was manifested to destroy evil and so are we. When Jesus invaded the earth, it was a declaration of war with the kingdom of darkness. When we are positioned in Christ, in the victory that He won at the Cross, we have all His authority over evil. Jesus said that all authority was given to Him, “Go therefore.” We have been released to go in His name, to enforce the Kingdom of God to be more than conquerors for His glory. He has given us authority to set the captives free and to open the prison doors to those who are bound.

God is our source for all things: God is the Fountain of Living Water; He is our Jehovah-Jireh—our provider. Any source we look to as our provision outside of Christ is an Idol in our hearts. We are first and foremost lovers of God. Everything begins with a secret relationship with God. When we spend much time with Him, we begin to be changed in His presence. We develop the mind of Christ; we are secured in His love, and we are confident in His embrace.

In the bridal embrace, we hear his heartbeat for the lost, and can begin to fathom the depths of His love for humanity. We become laid down lovers, laying down our lives as He has done. We become the body He has prepared for His Glory.

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for Me…”

“…Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—I have come

To do your will, O God.” Hebrews 10:2-7
