Who is Sufficient for These Things?

I was recently awakened in the middle of the night with a burning question in my heart: What would the apostle Paul and the disciples do in the situations that believers are now faced with in Canada, the United States and other parts of the world? How would they live, walk, and comport themselves? In my mind, I was seeing these apostles as bigger than life and present in our world. I sought God for the answers to these questions but received none.

The following morning, as I was reading a devotional, God provided the answer. The devotional talked about the early Christians and the situations they were facing; I saw that they were similar to the things we are now beginning to encounter in Canada. The disciples were being restricted in what they could speak about or teach; they were being disparaged by some of the religious leaders who feared man rather than God. There was a rising level of persecution against Christianity and Christians were being threatened daily.

Awakening versus Awokening!

The present ‘woke culture being pushed on humanity, is a demonic crafting of a new reality founded on satanic antichrist principles. Becoming ‘woke,’ is the awokening of the masses to the demonic principles of division, immorality and hedonistic lifestyles being espoused through ‘equity.’ The road to Truth leads us not to equity or even equality but rather to crucifixion—to the Cross, to a life laid down in full surrender and obedience to God; to the One who said, “I am Way, the Truth and the Life.”

I do realise that it is somewhat different to be born into a situation of persecution as the disciples were, than it is to watch the freedom that you have known all your life begin to be taken from you incrementally and systematically…so again my thought was what would the saints do?

What did the saints do? The disciples continued to press forward and do exactly what they were called to do! They prayed! They asked God for courage and boldness to speak. They asked God to strengthen them in the situations that they faced.  As they were obedient, there was a great awakening to the knowledge of Truth!  Acts 4 reveals the persecution they were experiencing, however, verse 33 says that:

Great grace was upon them all.”

Great grace! The answer leaped off the page into my spirit and I saw it! The answer was God’s Grace!  I suddenly saw that Grace brings whatever is needed! Grace is favor, power and all the Goodness of God wrapped into one. The disciples asked God to increase the power and He turned up the Grace and gave them great Grace. At one point when Paul complained to God about the attacks on his life, God said to him:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

What is grace? Grace is the Divine substance that releases the ability to walk supernaturally through any situation without fear. Grace undergirds and empowers the believer in Christ; the one who lives and moves and has his being in Christ, thereby tapping into His life substance.

The word grace in the Greek is charis and means, graciousness, especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life, benefit, favour, gift, joy liberality, pleasure. In Hebrew, grace is the word chên and means graciousness, kindness, favor, precious, well-favoured.

We can therefore expect that when God’s graciousness is upon us, His Divine influence works on our hearts, and becomes reflected in our lives. We then experience His benefits, His favour, His joy, His liberality, and pleasure over us as He works all things for our good.

Jesus is God! His life force is Spiritual substance that is supernatural, creative, imbued with wisdom, insight and understanding. Grace allows us to tap into the treasures of Christ, a place where there is no fear, and where every possibility exists.  In Grace, the substance of God’s life force moves in to take charge of any situation we may encounter. As Believers in Christ, we draw from Him and receive His Grace—His unmerited favor. Grace is embedded with potential to transform our circumstances and our demeanour from weakness and fear to power and strength.

Grace is Power!

Grace brings an atmospheric change, adjusts our perspective, and produces an uncanny sense that all is well. It impregnates the current issue with His Divine possibilities. Hope arises because God is in the mix. Grace therefore brings great possibility!

How then should we live? We live and walk in the present ever-changing world by trusting God to provide the Grace needed for any situation we may face. In perilous situations, we pray for great grace knowing that God’s grace is sufficient for all things.

When Paul and Silas were imprisoned and began to sing praises to God, they stepped into His life force, and grace was released. Their chains snapped and the prison doors were opened. Grace moved Peter to speak without fear, having just been released from prison for that very thing. When Peter and John told the others about the threats they received, they prayed and reminded God of Psalms 2:2 regarding threats to His Anointed and His elect ones.

“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken…”  Acts 4:29-31

Paul asked the sublime question, “Who is sufficient for these things? The answer is no one! God’s answer is, “My grace is sufficient for you.” The veil was rent at the Cross and Grace—the life force of Christ, was released on humanity. The Savior came to release His life that was full of Grace and Truth.

The door into the Kingdom was opened on Pentecost as Grace ushered in those who believed. It was poured on the house of Cornelius, welcoming the Gentiles into the family of God. The disciples prayed for doors of opportunity to be opened for them to share the Truth, and the Lord answered them.

“For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” 1Corinthians 16:9

Grace allows us to walk supernaturally through a natural and complex world. Grace moves obstacles out of the way and provides the peace to handle the difficulties of life. Grace is a Gift! Faith is the substance, the buying power, that purchases grace, favor, and Divine possibilities.

The Holy Spirit is the final arbiter of Grace. He said that it was not by might or power, nothing is possible but for His Spirit. God’s Grace releases the Holy Spirit in power.  The angel that spoke to Zerubbabel told him that the mountain before him would become a plain; that when he shouted: “…grace, grace to it!”   he would complete the work on the House of God in the headstone (Zech. 4:7).

The Angel asked Zerubbabel, “What do you see? Zerubbabel’s answer was oil. Grace brings the oil, the anointing that breaks the yolk, that breaks open prison doors, that transforms situations. How did Paul and apostles respond? They looked to God to make the way and to open the doors as only God can. Great grace was upon them all!

Let Grace open the doors of favor needed for you. Shout grace, grace to every obstacle in the path of the promise. In times of uncertainty, Grace will show you what to do! You will stand resolute in the strength, courage, and energy of God, in the grace of God. You will shine as you rest in Him! In rest and with God’s grace you can walk through anything. Rest is knowing that He is positioned at your side always, regardless of circumstance. In rest His fulness is released in you, and His will and His life is poured out through you. In rest there can be no fear.

God told us to: Be still and know that I am God! Cease striving and I will be God in your life! You have been called in a time of disfavor to rise in great Grace and favour, as pillars upholding the foundations of Truth. You are called to shine, reflecting the glory of God in times of uncertainty and change.

You will exude the Shalom peace of God when there is fear and hopelessness around you. You are the princes and towers of strength God is positioning in the earth. God will make you noticeable by His favor. People will see and take note. They will hear, causing them to grapple with truth and deception. You will exude God and minister His life force with His words and His healing touch. It is possible that God has not yet answered our prayers, because He is waiting to see a rise in His people before He removes the restrictions. He is searching for the new breed who have the guts to believe Him.

Don’t judge what other people and other churches are doing, as some are called to stay, and some are cold to go. Some are called to fight, and some are called to clean the fish, not everyone is called to the front lines. Receive His Life and find His Grace to find what you need to do! Draw near to Throne of Grace to find grace to help in times of need, (Hebrews 4:16). We are meant to be imbued with His Grace that we may become stewards of His Grace.

I started this word with the question of how the disciples would live in these present times. The answer is that in the Grace of God, they kept moving forward in obedience to the One who would sustain them, who would open the doors of favor to them and who would preserve them.

Who is sufficient for these things?  None but Christ. Our sufficiency is from Him!

The Call to Birth the Seed of Elohim!

The seed of Elohim is a spiritual principle founded on union with God through obedience to His Word, thus, always producing the intentions of the Lord, and as a consequence receiving the commanded blessing of the Father. With the full integration of the psyche of a person through maturity in Christ, the fullness of God integrates with man to birth Glory.  There is a mystery in union that sees the miraculous, produces accelerated answers to prayer and gives birth to the glorious plans of God. With Mary’s agreement with God, when she said, “Be it unto me according to your Word” … union occurred, The Seed of the Word of Elohim united with the seed of Mary’s faith, was implanted within her womb, producing the Word of God—Jesus Christ.

Agreement with the Word of God through faith, draws us into the Mind and heart of God. Agreement pulls us into the supernatural realm and world of God, where creativity, the faith of God, and every possibility exist. This is the mystery of union—nothing shall be impossible! Faith becomes substance! When likeminded saints gathered in one accord at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was poured out! Union with God and each other is the three-fold strand that produces the sons and daughters of Elohim in Majesty, Glory, and excellence. God is sounding the cry, “Agree with Me!” With this revelation, we now have insight into the devil’s plan for division in families, in marriages, and in the Church—with division nothing is possible!

WOMEN IN THE PLAN OF GOD!

Women are uniquely fashioned by God to bring to birth through travail and labor, the seed of Elohim, producing sons and daughters of God. In the same manner, and through intercession and travail, they bring to birth the seed of Elohimthat are His purposes in the nations and our communities.

“And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:23-24:

Woman was so named because she was taken out of man according to this passage—she was literally a part of him in order to become his counterpart. The word “Therefore” in this scripture indicates that God’s perfect and ideal plan for man and woman is that they return to a state of union, becoming one once again.

In Malachi 2:15 the question is asked, why one?  The answer given reveals God’s intent and desire for marriage and for union, “He seeks Godly offspring.”  The Hebrew word translated as Godly is the word Elohim that means the Supreme God. The word for offspring is zera meaning seed. The word for seeks is baqash and means to search out. The answer to the question of ‘Why one,’ could therefore be answered, or should be answered, that God is searching for the seed of Elohim.

The seed that God is looking for is related to everything produced in agreement and in union with the Supreme God. When Sarah and Abraham finally came into union and agreement with God’s plan, they produced Isaac—the seed of Elohim, through whom the Seed that is Christ came forth. As it says in Romans 9:7: “…in Isaac Your seed shall be called.”  When we are born again through union with Christ, the seed or sperma of Elohim is deposited within us.

“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them…”  1 John 3:9 NIV

The Greek word for seed is: sperma (G4687) – something sown, seed (including the male “sperm”); by implication offspring; specifically, a remnant, figuratively as if kept over for planting.

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15

In this passage God declares that the Seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent. We know that this refers prophetically to Jesus—the Seed of Elohim planted within Mary. Procreation is a gift given to women, and one of the keys to the understanding of women’s roles in ministry. Women were created to birth the life of Christ and the will of God on earth.

pro-creation: to beget, to produce, to bring into being, to reproduce, to engender offspring, to create something new.

God’s intention is to enlist His daughters to partner with Him to bring to birth the seeds of His New Thing in the Earth. Women become the gates, doors, and the womb through which His will enters. God uses women to travail with Him, to birth His New Thing, and initiate the beginning of new seasons of time in the epochs of God. Other examples are:

Hannah’s travail and willingness to give her child to God, ushered in a new era for the people of God through her son Samuel.  Leah’s decision to give her fourth child to God with praise, brought forth Judah, whose name means praise. Judah was the chosen tribe through whom the Messiah would come.  Anna was chosen as the intercessor that would travail in prayer in the temple for eight years to birth the manifestation of the Messiah on earth.  Women are now being called out for this time of birthing God’s New Thing.

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?” Isaiah 43: 17-19

Whenever God says, ‘Behold I do a new thing,’ it is most certainly a great, mighty, and wonderful thing; a surprising and unexpected thing; a thing that has not entered the heart or mind of man for that moment in time; a thing that is brought forth to initiate the changing of times and seasons as it has been known. In relation to our present time in history—the season of completion and birthing the fullness of God’s plan, summed up in the fullness of the stature of Christ—we can be assured that the New Thing He ushers in will be momentous and weighty. There are a few spectacular and very weighty things that God is about to birth in the Earth in this key moment of history. God is now assembling His daughters in Glory to birth His New thing and the completion of His plan:

A MIGHTY MAN: THE MAN CHILD

The first mighty thing that the woman will give birth to is the coming forth of a Mighty Man—a Warrior. Both the woman and this Mighty Man are revealed to us in Revelation 12:1-5:

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: and she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered…”

The woman is pregnant, in pain and is about to give birth.  Before we continue to the Man, we first need to understand all the features of this ‘great wonder in heaven. The great wonder is a woman. This woman represents the global ekklesia—the Israel of God in the earth. She is the Bride of Christ. The totality of the earth is clearly depicted in this passage as she is clothed with the sun and with moon under her feet. Upon her head is a crown of twelve stars. The stars portray the centrality and prominence of Israel as restored to the Head—she takes her place positioned among the nations as the central factor to the counsels of God. Let’s continue on with this passage in verses 4-5:

“And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron.”

Who is this Man Child?  Some have said that this is the birth of Christ, but with a careful reading of this passage, it is clear that this is a future event that does not describe the events surrounding the birth of Christ. The Greek word used for child in this instance is uihos, which represents a grown mature son, not a baby. The birthing of this Man represents the birthing of the Sons of God that the earth is travailing to bring forth (Rom. 8).

The Man Child’s coming forth includes God’s army of women, just as the Woman—the global Body of Christ in travail includes men. The Man Child rules with a rod of iron, representing authority and strength. The term ‘ruling with a rod of iron’ is a direct quote from Psalm 2:9 and represents Christ’s rule on earth. It is also quoted of Christ in Revelation 19. However, this quote is also used by the Holy Spirit to represent the rule of the overcoming sons of God on earth, depicted in Revelation 2:27:

“And he who overcomes, and keeps my works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father…”

The Man Child that is brought forth from the woman’s travail is an entity that is comprised of the mature apostolic ‘Sons of God’ in Holy union with the Son of God. The Man Child therefore has power and authority with Christ to rule. The birth of the Man Child is the promise of God that the overcoming mature church grafted into Israel will rule the nations. The birth of the Man Child is also confirmed by God in Ephesians 4:10-12:

“…till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ…”

The travail that women are called to, is the travail to bring forth sons to the stature of the fullness of Christ, within Whom they begin to rule together as one, and shine with the Light of the Glory of God (Is. 60). The birth of the Man Child in Revelation 12 is a people grown up to the Head—a Headstone generation, a perfected Man of the stature of Christ. The birth of the Man Child is confirmed in Romans chapter 8.  In this passage, we can then comprehend the level of Glory coming to the perfected saints.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God… the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” Romans 8:18-29

The travail of the earth in this passage—groaning in labor in birth pangs, is also the Woman in travail and in pain to be delivered of Revelation 12. The overcoming ones of the seven churches of Revelations 1 to 3 are also those who will come forth as the Man Child of Revelation 12. This is the great wonder of heaven – the woman bringing forth sons—a corporate and Mighty Man.

The seeds of Elohim the Body of Christ is carrying are Mighty and Great!  The birth of these seeds will not happen until God gives the word, until He sees a Body free of rebellion and personal agenda, until He sees the surrendered will, laid down as a gift before Him in humility. God will then announce the word and a multitude of women will carry and deliver it:

“The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng: “Kings and armies flee in haste; the women at home divide the plunder.” Psalm 68:11-12

God has impregnated His Body with His Son—the Son is the Lion of the tribe of Judah.  God has been patiently waiting for the day when His Bride—the Woman would be ready to give birth to His Life and Presence on Earth.  When this Lion hits the ground, the earth will shake!  Nations will stop to look and behold. The world will turn to see this great thing covered in the Shekinah Glory of God!

THE BREAKER WILL COME

God is now about to birth a New thing for a new season, a time imbued with a new mandate and new challenges.  Much revelation and strategic direction will come, and much will be given to women to participate in the birthing and breaking through of the New thing God is doing!

“The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their king will pass before them, with the LORD at their head.” Micah 2:13 KJV

Women carry the Breaker anointing, and the Breaker Himself is united with their travail, intercession, and ministry.  The Breaker comes to break the amniotic sac. After the water breaks contractions follow. The water initiates the labour and comes to facilitate the birth.

“So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” 2 Samuel 5:20

Women are now being called out to birth the New Thing, to renew, repair and rebuild; to birth the days of restoration, to bring forth the New Wineskin. As we said previously this ability to bring forth the New Thing was embedded within the DNA of woman at creation, mandated by God. Women have arrived at an incredible and significant time of history to birth the magnificent masterpiece of God as we have said—the Man Child—a corporate man of the stature of Christ!

“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:7-9  KJV

Let the travail begin! Women, begin to intercede for the coming forth of the Man Child within you and in the earth.  Decree: The Spirit groans within me, for the manifestations of the Sons of God!

A WOMAN’S PRAYER

Dear Father, I enter Your Presence as a chosen daughter loved and cherished by you—called forth to accomplish great exploits in Your Holy Name.  Like Mary, I bow to Your purposes and the destiny You have prepared for my life, and say, “Your will be done; be it unto me according to Your Word!”   In humility, I ask Your forgiveness and I repent for the times I have not embraced my womanhood and femininity, and for the times I have even despised it.  Forgive me for my anger towards the men in my life, and for dishonoring men with my words and my attitude.  In Your loving mercy, please forgive me for my anger towards You Lord through the testing and the trials of life.  I know Your ways are perfect Father, and I choose to trust Your ways in my life in all things—I know that as Your Word promises, You will bring me through the waters and through the fire, and I will not be harmed by it, but will be perfected in Your Glory for Your pleasure!

Forgive me for the times I have come into agreement with the enemy and have chosen to believe lies about myself and against You.  You are my loving Father and I choose this day to come into agreement with You and Your will for my future, to become the daughter You created and fashioned for Yourself to bring You joy!  I choose to embrace my identity as a royal daughter and the destiny, prepared for me before the foundations of the world.  I choose to partner with Jesus, my best friend and Bridegroom, and to allow the precious Holy Spirit His way in my life to prepare me as a Bride for Jesus, the Father’s beautiful and Wonderful Son—chief among ten thousand to my soul!

Thy will be done in my life! Thy Kingdom come upon me for Your Glory & Your fame in all the Earth!

May You forever be praised! Amen

EXCERPTS FROM MY BOOK: In His Image!

We Rest He Works! The Set Time Has Come!

God has been preparing His people for this notable hour of history as the containers and dispensers of His life and His goodness. He has been pouring in the treasures of His Word and soaking us in the anointing of His life in preparation for our appointment in the Presence of the King. Everyone has an appointment with the King. Everything we have been through thus far has been preparation for this divine appointment. For those who have been diligent to work with the Holy Spirit in fashioning the ministry He has assigned to you and have persevered through the trials of birthing your assigned portion, God calls you faithful!

I recently shared in my last word about the upcoming Shmita year on the Jewish Calendar, that will begin on Rosh Hashanah 5782, and falls on September 7th on the Gregorian calendar. God created the Shmita to be a Sabbath year of Rest for the people and the land. Every seventh year God ordained a time of rest, forgiveness of debts and the release of slaves from captivity. Obedience required the faith to know that God would provide supernaturally during this time.

Living in rest is a walk of faith! Obedience to God’s commands, releases the blessings of God. Obedience to God’s ordinance for the Shmita allowed Him to release supernatural signs and wonders on behalf of His people. We are now heading into an appointed and very supernatural year of Divine miracles, where we cease from our labors and from striving, and God rises to His place of Lordship in our lives and over the affairs of this world.

The Day of Rest that is upon us falls in a year represented by two—5782 and 2022. The number two in Hebrew is Bet and its form denotes a house or a container. Some Jewish scholars understand the number two to be the mirror of one. Two also signifies the principle of two witnesses.  In the season ahead, we will see a people coming into conformity to the mirror image of God, as they enter union and rest in Him. We will see God bear witness to His work in man, where He alone determines the matter and the outcome. In the year of two God will align Isaiah 22:22 with its counterpart of Revelation 3:7-8, to place open doors before His faithful servants that no one can shut, and to shut doors that no one can open.

“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Revelations 3:8

This is a word for many who have preserved through the trials, and who will now see doors opening before them as God goes ahead to prepare your way! For the Lord is now rising in His people to begin to build His House according to His design. He is about to release His builders and open great and effective doors to get the work done.

“The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory. For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in His glory.” Psalms 102:14-15

GOD IS ON THE THRONE!

September 7th is Rosh Hashanah, it is the Feast of the Blowing of Trumpets, and the beginning of 5782.  I sense God is saying as He did to Joshua 1:11, Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess.”  The Lord is saying that it is time to break camp and move out into your destiny. We are entering a supernatural Day of Rest, as we move into the Day of Battle. This is the dichotomy of the hour, Rest and war, and darkness and light.  When Israel crossed over the Jordan to possess their promised land, they were crossing over into war. The Covid trial we have been walking through in the world has been a disturbing one… allowing dark forces to push a demonic agenda. Yet through it all God has accomplished much in and through His people.

In the days ahead, we may see strange times come upon the earth, but God’s plan will always be unfolding towards His end… and He wins.  There are great times of testing coming and God’s people must dig deep and take these trials as opportunities to build muscles of faith.  Always remember that God has chosen you for such a time…He must therefore believe in you!

It is important for leaders to make up for lost time in preparing their people for the days of trial, by giving them the tools to find the fortitude to stand in the midst of turmoil while fully trusting in the faithfulness of a God who is mighty to save. Those with influence will  be called to instill strength to those who are losing hope. As the Psalmist has said, “God is on the throne!” God is on the job and is in full control. We must trust Him in the way He chooses to work things out.

God is now preparing to dress you, your ministry, and the resources you have birthed, in Royal garments for service to the King. You are being beautified by the Holy Spirit for your appointment with Him. You will see the King move into your life to take over and open appointed and effective doors for you, doors that you could never open for yourselves. God is saying that your appointed time has come!

“But you, LORD, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations. You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” Psalms 102:12-13

This word has been ringing loudly in spirit for three days and I have begun to see miracles begin to break out in my life. Grab hold of this word as I fully believe it is for the Body of Christ at this time! Over the past years, God has been working to put to death the flesh and carnal nature in us, that seeks to make our work and ministry all about ourselves rather than the One that we serve. That is about to change. There is a new breed coming forth whose faces are set on their King—their only desire is to know Him and to ensure that He gets all the Glory He so deserves. They are friends of the Bridegroom.
